Born on 6 January 1954 in Walton Upon Thames, Surrey, Tim Dolby was an artist whose profound passion for nature and the landscapes around him shone through every brushstroke. Over nearly five decades, he established himself as one of Britain’s foremost landscape and still-life painters, leaving a remarkable and enduring legacy.
Tim’s work has been celebrated in prestigious galleries and exhibitions in the UK and internationally, including:

In the 1990s, Tim pioneered his Verre Églomisé technique, combining enamel on glass with gold and silver leaf to create paintings of extraordinary depth, luminosity, and visual richness.
