Born on January 6, 1954, in Walton Upon Thames, Surrey, Tim was a true artist at heart. His passion for nature, landscapes, and the world around him shone through in every brushstroke. For nearly five decades, he was one of Britain’s leading landscape and still-life painters, leaving behind a remarkable legacy.
Tim’s work graced prestigious galleries and exhibitions across the UK and beyond, including:
- Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions
- The Miniature Society
- The Marine Society
- The Royal Society of Portrait Painters
- Pro Art Prize (Paris) – Esteemed International Recognition
In the 1990s, Tim introduced audiences to his Verre Églomisé paintings—an exquisite technique combining enamel on glass with gold and silver leaf, creating unparalleled depth of color.
A Master of Miniature Art
Tim’s delicate ink on ivory and watercolor on vellum compositions captured the finest nuances of light and detail. With a sketchbook always in hand, he painted breathtaking landscapes, flora, and nature’s wonders en plein air—fully immersed in his surroundings.
